Maestro knives are crafted in Thiers, France by 13th generation knife maker Tarrerias-Bonjean. Using a traditional forge, their full tang blade is precision-forged from one single piece of steel for additional balance, and strength. The blade is made of proprietary Nitrox® steel. This unique material is a fantastic work steel for everyday use, particularly because it will never rust, holds an impressive edge, and sharpens extremely easily. Nitrox®’s outstanding wear resistance comes from its high Nitrogen content, which guarantees a durable, razor-sharp edge meal after meal. Finally, with a Chromium content of 16%, it offers the one of the best resistances to corrosion available. The ergonomic handle is made of Polyoxymethylene (POM) which provides exceptional resistance against heat, impact, and detergents. It is triple-riveted to the full tang for extreme durability. |
