Curbside Pickup and In-Store Pickup

In-Store and Curbside Pickup are free services that allow customers to order items online and promptly pick them up at Abt's retail location in Glenview, IL. All in-stock items are eligible for Curbside or In-Store Pickup.

To take advantage of these services, shop at Abt.com as you normally would. When you are ready to check out, select Pickup from the available shipping methods in the shopping cart. Click Begin Checkout to proceed.

On the next screen, you can specify if you would like to authorize someone else to pick up your order. You can also choose Curbside Pickup if you would prefer not to enter the store to get your merchandise. Once we’ve processed your order, we’ll send you two emails. The first is an Order Confirmation Email, which summarizes your purchases. The second one is a Store Pickup Notification Email, which you’ll get when your items are ready to be picked up. Orders will be ready to be picked up within an hour of being placed.

How Curbside Pickup Works

    When you select Pickup as your shipping method, check off Curbside Pickup on the shipping page.

    Your order will be ready within 1 hour after being placed.

  • Curbside Pickup, Call or Text (847) 544-2714

    When you receive the “ready for pickup” email confirmation, follow the signs for Curbside Pickup. Look for an available parking spot with a numbered merchandise pickup sign.

  • Call or Text on arrival

    Text or call (847) 544-2714 in the parking number you are parked in to let us know you have arrived. An associate will come out with your order.

In-Store Pickup

Only the person whose name is on the order can pick up the items, unless an alternate pickup person was specified during checkout. Orders will be held at the store for 3 days. If you have not picked up your order after 3 days, we will cancel the order and refund your card at the end of the holding period.

  • A copy of your Store Pickup Notification Email.
  • A valid photo ID (state issued ID or driver's license)
  • The credit card used for your purchase

We will hold your merchandise for 3 days. After that time, your merchandise will be released back.

If someone else will be picking up your order

You and your designated pickup person will receive a Store Pickup Notification Email when your items are ready for pickup. Your designated pickup person will need to bring the following items:

  • A copy of your Store Pickup Notification Email.
  • A valid photo ID (state issued ID or driver's license)
