• Radial Root Cyclone™ technology
  Conventional vacuums rely on bags to trap dust and dirt. But when you start to use some bagged machines, dust can clog the tiny holes in the bag. Some ordinary bagless vacuums work in a similar way. They use a central filter to trap fine dust, which can clog too. Suction drops, leaving dust and dirt behind in your home. Dyson’s patented cyclone technology captures more dirt than any other cyclone. In Radial Root Cyclone™ technology remodeled airflows maximize suction power. Improved flow efficiency reduces turbulence and preserves air pressure, so more microscopic particles are extracted by the inner cyclones. These refinements help remove more dust, allergens and pet hair from the home
• Tangle-free Turbine tool
  The Dyson Tangle-free Turbine tool is the only turbine tool that doesn’t tangle. There’s no brush bar for hair to wrap around. It uses counter-rotating heads with brushes to remove hair and dirt from carpets and upholstery and releases it straight into the bin. The flexible heads and articulating base plate ensure that the brushes maintain constant contact with a surface – no matter how uneven. The heads are positioned so the brushes reach to the front and side of the tool, drawing in hair and dirt from all directions
• Ball™ technology for upright vacuums
  Dyson Ball™ uprights ride on a ball, which pivots on the spot so you can steer with a turn of the wrist. The ball also houses core technology, including the motor and ducting. There’s less clutter, so it’s easier to clean into awkward places, along edges and around furniture
• Strongest suction at the cleaner head
  Many upright vacuums use fixed settings. Their cleaner heads don’t self-adjust to different floor types – the bigger the gap between cleaner head and floor, the more suction power is wasted. With an active base plate it creates the optimal cleaner head contact for every floor type, reducing air leaks and retaining more suction power. It’s designed for outstanding performance across all floors – not just carpets, but the whole of your house

  DC41 machines are made from modified blends of materials selected for strength, flexibility and tolerance. Many parts are made from polypropylene reinforced with 20% glass fibres and high-impact PC-ABS. Using these materials means greater strength from less plastic - so the machine is lightweight

• Hygienic and quick to empty
  Emptying the bin on a Dyson vacuum is quick and hygienic. Just press the button to release the dirt. The bin is clear, so you can see when it needs emptying – and how much dust, dirt and pet hair the machine has captured. Dyson vacuums were the first to have clear bins – despite market researchers insisting it was a bad idea.   The Dyson Soft dusting brush gently removes dust and allergens from flat surfaces, delicate areas and upholstery. The fine nylon bristles are angled at 45° to sweep dust into the airflow, where it is sucked away. The front bristles are wider spaced to prevent sticking to furniture. A felt strip down the middle of the brush helps protect polished and delicate surfaces from scratching
• Multi-angle brush
  The Dyson Multi-angle brush twists to give multiple angles to remove dust, dirt and allergens from hard to reach surfaces such as cupboard tops, door frames and lampshades. The rotating joints click-lock into different positions for rigidity at multiple angles
• Stiff bristle brush
  The Dyson Stiff bristle brush dislodges ground-in, stubborn dirt and dried mud from upholstery and carpets. The bristles are angled to create a flicking action as they work through carpet pile - popping the dirt up into the airflow. Gaps between the bristles make the brush easier to push and prevents it sticking to surfaces
