Fresh & Save: Sous Vide Cooking Made Easy
In this video, you will learn how to use ZWILLING Fresh & Save vacuum bags to sous vide at home. Sous vide is a cooking method that uses precise temperature control to get restaurant-quality results in every meal. Part of this process requires the use of vacuum seal bags. Before you use your ZWILLING product, you must season your meat, fish or other choice of food. Place the food near the bottom of the bag, as far from the plastic valve as possible, and zip it closed. This prevents any liquid from being absorbed by the vacuum pump. To ensure that your ZWILLING Fresh & Save bag is fully sealed, apply light pressure along the edge. Attach your vacuum pump to the valve and with a single press of a button, you can vacuum seal your food into the bag. The pump is designed to stop automatically when your food is fully sealed so you always get perfect results. Press the red button to close the valve and then place your bag into a preheated warm bath. This hot water will cook your food and allow it to soak up all the flavors sealed in the bag. Just remove it when it's finished and you're ready to enjoy a delicious meal.
