How to Install a Whirlpool Gas Range

Installing a gas range requires two people following all necessary steps and precautions for proper installation which will take around four to six hours. Follow the below steps:
1. Obtain the correct gas connector. If you are replacing an older gas stove, make sure to use a new gas range flex connector for installation to help prevent gas leaks.
2. Important step: Turn off the gas valve
3. Wrap gas valve threads with Teflon® tape for proper sealant and a secure fit
4. Attach the gas connector to the gas line and check
5. Attach the street elbow to the gas port on your range
6. Tighten the gas connector
7. Turn on the gas and check for leaks.
8. Slide your new Whirlpool® gas stove into place.
