Comments about Whirlpool Whirlpool 30" Gas Cooktop - White Finish:
A perfectly reasonable cooktop. Only things to consider are: the simmer burner is front right, which is a silly location - should be in the back; and the grate configuration means that half the stove top gets hot when you're just heating one burner (and you have to wrestle with a rather big grate when you're cleaning). I also noticed that it's rather loud when you put the burners on full. Other than that, it works just fine.

aLL wHIRLPOOL ITEMS MAKE A VERY GOOD LOOK IN THE KITCHEN, however, when contacted by a sales rep, the rep tried to get me to purchase another brand of matching vented hood, which was more expensive and repeatedly asked me to purchase the Roan brand. I was insisting on a Whirlpool brand costing about $220.00. I refused to buy a Roan brand name.[...]
Delivery Driver was exceptional in the delvery, and stood there as I opened the box for inspection and made sure all the parts were in the box.
EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THE DRIVER.
DEFINITELY GIVE HIM A RAISE! He deserves it!

[...] I was replacing an existing cooktop so the cut-out was already there. I did have to widen the cut-out about 1/4 inch to accommodate this one. After that, it installed without an issue. It works fine.
