ABT is best when it comes to taking care of it's customers. I had paint coming off a unit when it was just 7 months old and I called ABT and they sent out two guys with a replacement. This is what service should be like from everyone but many of the so-call discount places could care less. I will go to ABT next time I need another item no matter what it is.

[...]. It is a bit smaller than my previous white unit and I just have to get used to the reset/stop button on the left. Function wise, I have not had any problems with the unit. I have serviced Microwave units in the past so I have some knowledge of these. This was reasonably priced but more than just cheap as the cheap ones can burn your house down- I have proof.This is a good brand! This is my third GE Microwave.

This microwave died after having it for just over two years (purchased Oct 07). That's just past the standard warranty and extended warranty provided by my CC. I do not recommend purchasing this product.

This model was bought for my mother-in-law who couldn't find an acceptable mid-size model in her rural locale. Only stipulation besides size was that it be black and have a push-button opener. Because Ma is 91 years old and set in her ways, it was important that the microwave be easily operated. Her only complaint was that the unit slipped when opened. Rubber furniture cups solved the problem and she's once again happily making their mid-morning tepid instant coffee.

This microwave works great!! I wasn't used to such a powerful microwave and actually burned something the first time I used it, but it works really well. It heats everything really evenly and is quiet! Good value for the price I paid!! Would definitely recommend this product to anyone in the market for a new microwave oven!

Use mostly for defrosting, reheating, popcorn. I really like all the features but it takes awhile to get on the learning curve. The interior is just a tad too small for larger plates and when running it is sooo noisy. On our old one you could barely tell it was on.

We use this microwave for limited cooking of vegetables and simple entrées. We reheat existing dishes, also. The oven is powerful, easy to configure and a little noisier that we had expected. However, it is a great oven at a great price. It is so powerful compared to our old microwave that we have to use caution not to "over do" the heat level and cook time. Buy it! The price was great and the results are fantastic.

New to this machine - it was a replacement to an older much smaller Little Litton. This is a pleasure as it seems to work on the timings that are suggested on the packaging of various food products - which is a nice change for me. With the old machine I always had to double the time and guess. The only minor complaint is the the popcorn stting seems to need to be on it's longest timing for all size microwave popcorns. When I used the lower settings much of the popcorn kernals did not pop - when I used the first setting (which is the longest) it worked just fine. Thaws frozen food nicely. Haven't tried all the various features yet - but it offers many nice options. Mostly we reheat coffee, heat muffins and zap premade meals from Fresh Direct. I just have to remember that on the coffee it needs much less time than the old machine or it can come out way too hot. Love the Black finish.

Remove "by GE" it is redundent.
