Comments about KitchenAid KitchenAid Architect Series II Countertop Stainless Steel Microwave Oven:

I use the MV oven for basic needs, and this appliance is perfect for me. I wish it had a melt / soften option for butter or chocolate.

Service & Delivery comments:

Totally impressed with my first big online purchase. Item arrived well protected, in perfect condition in 2 days. I saved $80, and a week of delivery time by purchasing online rather than the hardware store.

Comments about KitchenAid KitchenAid Architect Series II Countertop Stainless Steel Microwave Oven:

This oven matches my other KitchenAid stainless steel appliances in my kitchen, even though it was purchased five years after the others. It is nice and roomy, but that means it takes up a lot more counter space than other ovens. The controls are not as easy as other microwaves, but are easy to get used to - even without reading the manual. It is also a little more expensive than other microwaves, but then again, it is a KitchenAid. You pay a little more, but you get what you pay for with a KitchenAid.

I had the older model of this microwave and just got the new one. I love it. It warms things up quickly and it is very easy to use. I also love the defrost feature. There are days I forget to defrost the chicken for dinner and with this microwave it's quick and easy to defrost.

Delivery was very fast and on time. Product was packaged perfectly.

I really like the defrost feature. My old microwave took 20 minutes for 2 pounds of frozen meat to defrost where as my new one takes 9 minutes!!

kitchen aid microwave is a tad loud but looks good I installed it in a cabinet, with the 27" grille kit. The screws to the grille kit are junk. make sure you pre drill or they may break or twist.

Service & Delivery comments:

I received this product very quickly and it was packaged so not to get damaged. there was no sign of damage. Abt had the best price by far and I was amazed that there was not a catch. I would by again from Abt.

Comments about KitchenAid KitchenAid Architect Series II Countertop Stainless Steel Microwave Oven:

We had the KitchenAid microwave when we lived in Florida. It was great and we were very pleased with the quality. We sold our house in Florida and were so pleased with the microwave we replaced the one in the new home with the KitchenAid.What a difference several years made. After the first year, (warranty was over) we had trouble with the door. We would close it and we would have to open and close it again to get the light off. The microwave would not work unless we did that.We have no kids at home and are not rough on out appliances. We love to cook and found this to be good when we needed it. Except for the door problem.[...]

Comments about KitchenAid KitchenAid Architect Series II Countertop Stainless Steel Microwave Oven:

Once our new Microwave was installed (including the trim), it fit in beautifully, along with all the other KitchenAid products we purchased. The Microwave is larger then our previous one, however it fit in the same space as the previous one. The Microwave is simple to use, and frankly one doesn't really need the instruction book to be able to use it for most of the things you would do with the Microwave. We highly recommend this KitchenAid Architect II Series Microwave and all the other KitchenAid products we purchased.

Service & Delivery comments:

Our delivery was right on time, like we requested and all the products we purchased were in good shape and ready for installation. We are replacing our kitchen countertops so the new gas cooktop (5 burners) and a vent have not been installed....however, we fully anticpate them to look good and work well.

Comments about KitchenAid KitchenAid Architect Series II Countertop Stainless Steel Microwave Oven:

I use this microwave oven almost daily and it runs circles around my previous microwave oven. It heats up in half the time and gives better results, is simple to use and I love the auto features. The inner compartment has very ample space and is easy to clean. I love using it and it looks very sleak installed above my kitchenaid oven. The only negative is that since it is "stainless" steel, you have to clean off fingerprint smudges.

Comments about KitchenAid KitchenAid Architect Series II Countertop Stainless Steel Microwave Oven:

[...]. The front window is plastic. The steel is thin (dents/dings easily). The blue LCD display doesn't match my other top-line KitchenAid appliances. The door open button sometimes sticks. It is as loud as my last 20-year old microwave during operation; and egregiously loud when it 'beeps' (no volume setting, either on/off). The turntable base with plastic wheels isn't designed very strong in the center hub/connection point to the motor. Not really worth the [$]+ price tag.

Service & Delivery comments:

Came very fast and good double packaging. Thank you.

Comments about KitchenAid KitchenAid Architect Series II Countertop Stainless Steel Microwave Oven:

Purchased with trim kit to replace an aging convection microwave (rarely used the convection so decided on a more powerful microwave only solution). The oven is extremely fast, and the sensor cooking modes work well. Bacon comes out just right; reheating left overs are nice and hot. Pop corn which was always a challenge in our previous unit was easy to do even in a brown paper bag.

Two surprises with this unit first was, it is stainless on the outside (ie the reason for the increased expense); and white on the inside...I would have preferred it be the other way around since the built in mode one sees none of the stainless case, but opening up shows bright white.

The other surprise was a plastic door window which is very common now that I see other competitive units. The plastic window reflections looks wavy at an angle which is how we noticed it. Our old unit was glass and was nice and flat.

Service & Delivery comments:

Abt delivered quickly with excellent double box packaging allowing the item to arrive in excellent condition.
