Been using it for about month in my basement. I set the humidity percentage on 50 and I am emptying the water pan twice a day. The water pan should be larger. Other than that issue the machine is great. It is quiet, efficient and powerful.

We were getting a rediculous amount of condensation on windows throughout the house and could not find a good solution. After plugging this thing in and running it for 1 evening we found that we were pulling almost 25-30 pints of water out of the air and off the windows per day. It is a bit loud so we run it primarily at night or when not at home but the results were fabulous after just a few hours. Absolutely recommend. I did by extended waranty because of reading these do not last we shall see.

We use it for our basement and we were without one for about 6 weeks and we sure noticed right away when we started using it. It worked fast and is still doing a great job.

The dehumidifier has been running constantly for the last three weeks and we've had no problems with it. We use it in a basement space approx. 600 sq. ft. and it does the job quickly and quietly. The only drawback is the small water pail - if your area is very damp you may have to empty the it more than once during a 24-hour span.

Overall, very good. Easy to operate and maintain. Wish it had a larger capacity. Like the hose feature, where it can drain directly into a drain. Have not figured out why it will overflow on occasion.
