The grill itself if awesome. I did a lot of research to find the best grill under $500, this one seems to be one of the best under $1000 though.
Gets up to 600-700 degrees rather quickly which is great for searing, then keeps an even temperature cooking the whole way through.
The grill lid was dented a little bit from the inside out. It kind of kills the sleek stainless look from certain angles. I could probably have had it replaced, but I was just too ready to start grilling.
The freight company called and set up an appointment the day before delivery. It was from 10am-2pm. They were outside of the house at 9:55am, and only took 5-10 minutes to get the gigantic box into the garage.

The set up was so easy, took less than 2 hrs. My grill arrived with no dents. I am very satisfied with the quality of paint finish and metal. I've used the side burner for cooking corn, beans and even fried fish. I am very please with my purchase.

Heat control is excellent!! Not the Ducane of old but a great grill. My 1981 Ducane still lives at the hunting camp in Mi. Indirect grilling is controllable without drying out a piece of pork of lamb.
Side burner standoff is below edge of metal, so a little larger pot actually sits on the metal shelf, not on the burner.

Assembly was easy, but it did take a while to do it. I did not need any special tools, though using a cordless screwdriver is a big plus. I can see why an assembled grill costs more :-)
Delivery was prompt. They call to schedule a delivery with you first. It comes in a large box, and it is heavy.

Ducane is Weber's cheaper version but it is loaded with features for the price. Unfortunately, there is an "AA" battery that needs to be installed in the electronic igniter. Hopefully, Weber will change that deisign on future models to eliminate the need for a battery.
Nevertheless, with a rottisserie (sp?), side burner and many stainless steel parts, it is a "good buy".

great grill at [$]rotisserie burner is a great feature, try it with babyback ribs with a dry rub. mmmm good stuff.has good flame control. sturdy desighn. last burner is hard to start.

Lights well. Love the rotisserie to cook without supervision. Cleans up well even though I hate cleaning. Nice grill for the money. My Dad has had a Ducane for 17 years...so I will review again in 15.

I absolutely love this grill. I was looking for over a year to find a grill with the accessories I wanted at the price I was willing to pay. This grill fit the bill perfectly!! I am still getting used to how well this grill cooks. I "killed" the first few hot dogs & hamburgers because I was not prepared for how well it worked! My only complaint is that it is rather difficult to get and keep clean. Not a huge deal, but a little annoying.

I looked at eveything under $800. This grill is worth twice the money. Its a serious grill bu looks and performance and heats up in seconds. Very powerful. it took about 2 hours to put together and was not too diffucult. the first tim i used it i was floored. super fast cooking. Very well constructed. Its made by Weber but for the money a "weber" cant even come close. I think its a much better product. Best keep secret as far as grills are concerned.

The picture book assembly instructions could be better but all parts fit well and hardware was all there. Ignition works well and flame control is good. Over all good quality.
The box was a mess on arrival but unit was so well packed there was no damage. Delivery driver was great and helped unpack all pieces and inspect before leaving.

I have used the grill several times since I put it together (took around an hour to an hour and a half). I am very pleased with my purchase. My only complaint thus far is that the side tables get very hot during use. I have found that if I use the center two burners it is not quite as bad, but still very hot. The grill produces a nice blue flame and heats up very quickly with good control of the heat. I have not tried the rotisserie yet.
This is my second time dealing with ABT. Once again I am very pleased with my purchase. I chose standard shipping by local carrier. I recieved the grill to my door in less than a week. I had the same experience with my first purchase. I will definitely be looking to ABT for future purchases.

This grill is great. I wasn't sure I would use the side burner, but find it very convenient when making a side dish to go with my meat and veggies on the grill. Have not yet used the rotisserie. Grill is great overall with great even heating and cooking. Weber (they own Ducane)customer service is great, we had a small part problem, and they promptly sent what we needed at no cost. Not to mention that this grill looks really nice and is solidly constructed.
Fast delivery from ABT. The shipping company it went to locally sat on it for a few days though. ABT customer service was top notch. I highly recommend purchasing from them. I was one day late on a sale price and the gentleman I spoke to honored it anyway.
