Excellent for general house cleaning (carpet wood, and tile).
I would have liked a longer cord.
It does not clean as efficiently as my previous Hoovers, but still, better or as good as any other brands.
The standard attahments are excellent and adequate for general house cleaning.

The vacuum has settings for hard floors and carpet, and being that my place has both, this vacuum works very well for me. The only reservation I have about this product is that when I first bought it, the bristles wouldn't spin. Once I took the bottom plate and belt off, and saw no damage I put it back on and it worked fine. Since then I have not had any problems at all with this vacuum. Great purchase!

The first time I tried to use it after we unpacked it, the brushes would not turn. I had to take it to a Hoover dealer in Chicago to have it fixed. Evidently the belt was off. I assume it was put on incorrectly at the factory. Hopefully that does not indicate it's future performance. I was really disappointed to say the least and lost a half day of work.

This is an excellent vacuum. All the advertised functions work very well. The window showing the brush as well as the dirt finder are great additions. The hose for attachment is short, common for most vacuums but I do not use the attachments often. The weight is also comparable; those with stairs might consider purchasing a hand-held vacuum as rarely can you purchase a light vacuum with decent cleaning power. The vacuum was easy to assemble and I highly recommend reading the user's manual before using. My only major con is the location of the on/off switch could be better placed but should not be a deterrent to purchasing this model.

It has really great suction. Overall impressive cleaning power., however it's next to impossible to maneveur any turns and marks every baseboard it touches black!!!!!

The belt broke the first time we used it. I am not sure that the company that we bought it from actually sent is a new one. The second one we got worked well and though it sounds like Flight 247 to Chicago when you use it; it does a great job.

This is one of the best/if not the best vacuum cleaner I have ever owned. I have back problems and arthritis and the self-propelled makes it easy to use. Powerful suction too, my rugs look like new after vacuuming with this vacuum.

Efficient vaccum which leaves carpets looking excellent. Deep cleaning and the self propoelled feature eases use even tho the vaccuum itself is slightly heavy.

Has great suction power. The bag is much better than the bagless type i had before this one. Pet hair attachment works well.

Almost exactly same product as one we owned and loved for 10 years. It is a little noisey and heavy but both contribute to the power.

I have 3 cats and one dog which makes my need for a good vacuum cleaner of primary importance. I love my new Hoover Wind Tunnel Anniversary Edition Self-propelled vacuum cleaner because it does what the Hoover people claim. My carpets have never been so clean! Believe me, I have used many different vacuum cleaners which do not measure up to this one. My one issue is that it is a little on the noisy side. The self-propelled benefit makes it so easy to use that the noise problem takes a back seat. You can't go wrong if you purchase this vacuum cleaner.
