Very pleased with the vacuum. It replaced an Oreck which cost twice as much. The portable canister has more suction than Oreck's also. As noted in other reviews, main negative is the noise, which is only an issue if you want to vacuum while others are watching t.v.

This vacuume works very well on carpet, I give it 5 stars for that. But, it does not have a hard floor setting. I guess your suppose to use the other hand held vacuum for hard floors...but I dont want to change vacuums in the middle of cleaning. I want to be able to go from carpet to hard floor with the click of a button. This vacuum also does not have a hose on it at all,again you have to change to the hand held canister for that. I like that a little light comes on when its time to change your bag.

Works well on area rugs and the berber carpet. Brings up the rug nap that gets compressed in high traffic areas. Light weight so it is easy to take up and down the stairs. Six year warranty is nice and your also able to purchase replacement brushes for the roller. The canister that comes with the vacuum works well, but plan on using the carrying strap to use it as if you try to place it on the floor as the hose is rather short and does not easily extend which leads to the canister falling over. On high mode it can be a bit noisy.

This is a super lightweight vacuum that has great suction. The separate canister vacuum that came with this upright Hoover has very good suction, but could use a longer power cord. It is lightweight as well and carries easily over the shoulder.

This is a nicely designed vacuum. Lightweight which makes a difference in carrying it up the stairs. Neat idea to have a separate pack for the tools which are not used as often.
ABT stood behind this product. The first unit had a short in the switch. ABT replaced it on the next delivery.

I had to return the vacuum cleaner because it would burrow into my deep pile carpet, making it very difficult to push. With a height adjustment, this would be a great vacuum cleaner.

This is the best vacuum cleaner we have owned. Its light weight design and long cord are a welcome change from our Eureka Boss. The canister has the advantage of good mobility However, the bag is too small.

It took a while to get here, but I love it! I live in a multi-level house, and I hated lugging my old vacuums up and down stairs. This is light in weight, but it does a fantastic job of cleaning my carpets!

This vacuum is light-weight with GREAT suction power. It practically propels itself. I love the 2 power settings - high for carpets & low for vacuuming rugs or other movable objects. Does an awesome job of picking up dirt on the sides of the vacuum head. The one drawback is that it doesn't pick up dirt against the wall at the front of the vacuum head very well - you need to run the side of the vacuum head against the wall to get at dirt in tight spaces. Bottom line - this is the best vacuum I've owned & I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Canister is small and lightweight with great power!
Vacuum has great suction and is extremely lightweight! I never thought I'd own a bagged vacuum but now I don't think I will ever use a bagless again!

This is a good vaccuum. I have 3 dogs and it picks up the hair nicely. It also works good on bare floors. I have newer carpeting in bedrooms and I find it very hard to push.My arm gets a workout. Its not hard to push on my area rug and old carpet in den. I use this vacuum every day and its still powerful. The bags are huge so you can vacuum away the only down fall is that these bags cost $10.00 for a box of 2. Ouch!! Be sure to have plenty of baking soda to put in bag. The canister vacuum is good also.Very Light weight. Price of this vacuum was very exspensive. I bought it 6 months ago and it still sucks like new.

Nice vacuum, light enough to lift and use on stairs. Not intended for bare floors. Canister is a good addition, especially for furniture and bare floors but it is very loud especially in more enclosed spaces such as bathrooms.
