So far, we're very satisfied with this vacuum. It picks up a lot. It's quieter than our previous Hoover. It's easier to empty than expected. The cord is a little shorter than previous, but the rewind feature is great. I hope the rewind never breaks!

Use twice a week. Have a Hoover that left dog hair on carpet. Decided to get a "Pet" vacuum and read all the reviews I could find. This Hoover model was always at the top and I decided to stick with Hoover. Glad I did! Picks up all the hair on carpet and rubber attachment makes cleaning furniture easier then with old brush attachment.

I use this almost every day on my area rug and hardwood floors to get up kid and cat crumbs and hair. It's so much easier to empty than my other bagless vacuums that just leave a puff of dust when you try to clean the filter in the garbage. All the filters are washable. After several types of vacuums for my downstairs, this is by far my favorite.

I bought this cleaner because I have three pets that shed a lot. I received the cleaner last night and tried it out on the kitchen tile floor, carpeting and upholstery. I have to say that my 20 year old Regina Housekeeper (!) has better suction that this one. I had to go over the rug several times before it picked up loose lint. It didn't pick up fur any better than my old cleaner. I had read these comments before I ordered the vacuum, and saw the complaints about the hose being too short. I couldn't imagine it was that bad so I went ahead and bought it. Well, the hose is INCREDIBLY SHORT and does not easily extend. That is going to be a MAJOR annoyance, especially since I planned on using it for et hair removal on chairs, etc.

Vacuum had decent features. Weight is average (not really light, not super heavy), only three accessories included. Be aware the extension/accessory hose is short and hard to use. The internal spring in hose is hard to stretch making cleaning with hose difficult and awkward. Has great suction on carpets. Not ideal for hardwoods. I don't think it cleans my wood floors well. Brush on the Vacuum body can be turned off for hardwood use.

Did LOTS of research and I still believe this is a great vacuum for the price. We have a dog and cat that shed considerably and this vacuum has no problem cleaning with one pass. When the vacuum is on, it's very smooth and easy to handle. However, carrying upstairs, etc, it's extremely heavy. The light seems like a cool feature, but I find it pointed too far off the ground to actually do much good. The only thing that has truly bothered me about this vacuum is that some air blows out of the cord hole often sending dust from the hardwood floors flying. It also makes the cord left in the vacuum somewhat hot to the touch if I decide to expand the cord for another area. Aside from that, the suction is great, just one look in the canister and you can't deny that it works!

This machine is the answer to removing pet hair. It is equipped with a special device to perform this task. The wand could be longer but extremely useful under sofas, in corners, etc. The suction and pick-up is beyond perfection. A bit heavy for me. Overall, best purchase yet to aid pet hair removal. Great machine. I have three dogs who shed. I am impressed that the hair does not get caught up on the brush. I have to empty it often, but that is
not a problem because it is so easy to empty.

I'm so happy with this product. I use it to clean my living room, bedroom, bathroom, wherever my doggies go since I have two doggies inside my house. Impressive suction, not heavy and easy to control, great design and color, and easy maintenance. This product unbelievably removes pets hair hidden inside the carpet and I was so surprised in 30 seconds after turning it on, "How powerful and efficient this is !".

Having 2 golden retrievers that shed all year round, my biggest problem was to find a vacuum that picked up the dog hair and didn't leave the vacuum bag smelling of dog hair. The bagless vacuum solves this problem.

-Careful with rewind cord. If you step on it, you may not have a rewindable cord any more.
-The dirt container does not empty as easily as advertised. Stuff sticks inside, and around the cylinder.

FOR WOOD FLOORS IT'S FINE
WHEN YOU TRY TO MAKE ADJUSTMENTS ON CARPETING BETWEEN THICK PILE AND LOW PILE THERE IS NO NOTICEABLE DIFFERENCE. THEREFORE, ON THICK PILE CARPET IT FEELS AS IF YOU ARE PUSHING THROUGH SAND.
