great product, too soon to know about repair costs, but it gets clothes noticeably cleaner than my old machine. spins almost dry, cuts dry time more than in half, hot cycle is amazing, towels feel new.

This Whirlpool works fantastic. After getting through all the multiple settings this product works much better than I would ever of thought. It is very quiet, and uses so much less water. The big item I like is the spin cycle, my clothes come out almost dry so my drier time is cut way back...

Another positive for this machine is you can dry the gasket and also remove soap dispenser, empty water and dry it to keep washer smelling fresh.

This machine is perfect, works well and my clothes have never been cleaner. The extra large capacity really cuts down on the number of washes I do every week. It's not as quiet as I thought it would be, but certainly not as loud as my old washer. I'm just sorry that I had to wait so long buy this, but it was well worth the wait.

We are a family of 7 so we were looking for an energy efficient washer that would spin fast enough to remove most of the water so the dry cycles would be shorter. This machine does exactly that. Clothes come out clean. Main level installation on wood floor with basement below and it hasn't moved at all. Very easy to install for a do it yourselfer. Delivery was fast efficient and friendly. I would definately recommend this product.

I use this washer for my family of five. I can do all our laundry in about three loads now!! There are options for every desire- and even better-they are pretty self explanitory so you don't have to read the manual for every little thing.

I bought this washer because of the large capacity (for washing comforters), Consumer Report's recommendation and that it had a bulky setting for comforters. I found that the heavy setting works better than the bulky setting for comforters because you cannot use the extra high spin setting under bulky items. The comforters come out too wet when using the bulky setting. I don't think it is worth the money I spent on it.

We bought this washer to replace a 12 year old Kenmore that had finally bitten the dust. The first unit arrived DOA. [...] the new unit works very well. To be fair on the cons, the unit only shakes and the cycle is only long because the spin cycle is really fast - so much so that the dryer only needs half as much time as it used to.Also, this thing is really a miser when it comes to detergent. Even though HE detergent is more expensive, you will still save money.
