Comments about Denon Denon 7.2 Channel Black AV Home Theater Networking Receiver:

Great product with a ton of input/output ports. Setup is easy but advanced user setup is a bit more challenging. Ability to access the system via home network is an option to get a friendlier interface but functionality is more limited than when using the remote. Overall, for the price, I highly recommend.

Service & Delivery comments:

ABT was great. Shipping was prompt. Had no issues.

Comments about Denon Denon 7.2 Channel Black AV Home Theater Networking Receiver:

The Denon's self-calibrating surround sound microphone (known as Audyssey) is really impressive. It takes about 20 - 15 minutes, but really takes your seating position and room acoustics into consideration. It improved the movie soundtracks in our room, which had previously been professionally calibrated using Avia DVD and decibel meters.

Also like the Denon's integrated web server, which allows control of it via any computer on our home network and via our iPhones.

Has really played well with the Mac Mini we use for playing DVD's and the Tivo we use for television. Each is simply connected to the Denon with a single HDMI cable. Then one more HDMI cable runs to the television.

Comments about Denon Denon 7.2 Channel Black AV Home Theater Networking Receiver:

I bought the 3311CI to replace a Lexicon DC1. This is a great product, easy to setup and start using to enjoy movies and games. Sound is excellent in all modes (DTS Master HD, Dolby Digital, Prologic on older movie titles). Video looks great, but as the receiver looses the video signal (ex: when switching between sources or when a streaming video ends), odd colors and patterns may appear on the output device. To get the full benefit of this device, plan on spending some time with the manual and using some online searches to really get the device working the way you want it. While I plan to use separate amps with this, I was pleasantly surprised to hear how good the built in amps are with this product. My speakers are about a 6 ohm load and the amp has no problem with them. This is a great choice for the enthusiast with multiple video and audio sources.
