Had a 2002 Sony receiver and very difficult to program or to attempt to program. Received my Onkoyo and had it setup and explained - and so user friendly not like Sony. Fabulous!!

I am very happy with the Onkyo TXNR509. The sound is just incredible. I thought my speakers were worn out and I needed to replace them but this showed me the problem was with my old receiver. This unit brought my speakers alive. Everything works, it's easy and straightforward to hook up. The documentation is excellent. The controls are logical and easy to use. The internet functions all work well. And did I mention the music quality? The sound is truly superb. I could find no cons and I am very happy with this.
