We use it for general home entertaining and just listening to our collection of CD's. The FM reception is great and the AM is not so good, but that is because of our area, not the product.

Service & Delivery comments:

Delivery was sooner than I expected (always a noce thing). Arrived in good condition and did not need to contact customer service

This is a great unit if all you're looking for is a simple stereo receiver with great sound. Glad SONY still makes a product like this.

As noted above, although the tuner mode is fine, this unit does not allow a turntable & cassette deck to function with normal volumes.
