We had read that the sound on this was terrific for movies but not for playing CD's. Wrong! We purchased the optional SWA-3000 wireless speakers and love it. Sound is very loud, clear and crisp. We had this set up by a friend that is an engineer and he set it up perfectly. We had purchased a Sony system and returned it as we wanted to have all Samsung Products and read that Sony home theater had problems with the Samsung 6187W. Great remote!

Could not ask for a better product!
