The remote control is difficult to interface with even other Samsung products i.e. TV and cable box.

I am very pleased with this system. It delivers great sound and was very easy to set up. With the optional Wireless Rear Speakers, there are no unsitely wires running across the floor.

Sounds great! However, I had to cut out the back of my entertainment center in order for the DVD player to fit inside. Otherwise, it sounds great. I haven't tackled the entire remote yet... it seems a little cumbersome at first glance due to it's large size as well, but the sound is very good. I'm sure with a little use I'll be just as pleased with all the options that this little/"big" system holds.

This is a great product. I was initially very pessimistic when I opened the product as it does not have a independently powered subwoofer and speakers are kind of tiny (this is not BOSE ofcourse). But it surprised me in every area in terms of sound quality and versatility (IPOD and auxilary inputs). As far as DVD changer is concerned, It upconverts well and picture quality is superab. My only issue is that it is does not provide adequate Audio inputs to make best use of the Receiver.(You cannot connect your Satellite Receiver and VCR at the same time as only one additional audio input source is provided)

Very good up converting DVD player. Sound is clear.
Very unattractive design. It doesn't look like the same model shown on Samsung web site. I bought it because I wanted something matching with my new Samsung plasma tv

You will not be able to playback any backup copies of Copyrighted/Copy protected DVDs.
CSS prohibits such playback!

This unit has great sound while watching a DVD. My only complaint is that you can not hook your TV up through it. It appears you must have a Samsung compatable TV in order for it to work with regular TV.
