was a gift for a teenage girl - my son's girlfriend - who loves music, but must keep volume down because of sleeping parent. She loves this unit. The sound is better than her dad's component system. Sounds great at any volume, and it fills every corner of her room - like surround sound. I could not have paid 10x more and gotten anything better.

This equipment is a great value.It is well made, easy to set up and use. It plays all MP3 players and the Ipod. We have 4 different ones in our home and it is compatible with all of them. The sound quality is excellent. We were so impressed with this that we bought 4 more for our offices and for the kids to use. I would find it hard to believe there is anything else in this price range that would be a better buy.

My wife uses this to play CDs and/or her ipod while getting dressed in the mornings. It's an ideal system for this. Small; doesn't take up much counter space; puts out a big sound. Only thing missing is a tape player if you have old tapes you like to listen to. Only has CD and ipod capabilities.
