I bought this system for my 83 year old parents and they were thrilled because they wanted to listen to both CDs and tapes. Set-up was simple for me; they had a little trouble loading the 5-disc changer, but one quick lesson and all was well. I know it can do much more than they ask of it, but they love the sound and they play it loud!
