the speakers r nice and it dont take up to much roomand u can hear all the instruments in the music,but i wish it had a little more power.i love to hear the base and hte right quality sound when i listen to music,thats what make anybody wants to keep listeningto t more.

I needed a pair of floorstanding speakers to replace my 20-year old JVC's and I certainly was not going to buy one of those home theater sets. I have Technics stereo components (also 20 years old) that just needed a solid pair of speakers. These Sony speakers have twice the punch and clarity as my old ones(and the bass cones are about half the size), and make any of my music (from classical to heavy metal to rap) sound awesome! Unless you are a sound purist you don't need to pay [$] per unit! These work perfectly for 95% of you out there. Abt has great customer service and the product was shipped right away. Next I will replace my aging stereo with the Sony components, and I will definitely use Abt for this! I give 5 stars because they are perfect for my needs- audiophiles should look elsewhere. Thanks for keeping us separate stereo component devotees of the 1980's in mind, Abt!
