Works great with the Lumix ZS3 and the price was the best I could find out there for this battery. The generic batteries won't work, this battery works just fine. We use it as our back up to the original one we got with the camera.

Be aware that not all DMW-BCG10 batteries advertised on the net will actually work in the Lumix DMZ-ZS3 camera. This one being made by Panasonic does work without fail. I used the battery I purchased on a recent cruise (just returned Saturday) and took approximately 240 photographs with and without the flash. The battery is still in the camera with remaining available power.
The delivery arrived as promised -- in time for my trip. The product arrived in new and excellent condition.

This product appears to be identical to the Panasonic battery that came with my camera. I was unable to find this battery locally and it took a bit of searching to find it online. It seems Panasonic prevents third-party manufacturer parts from working in some cameras, so that would be my only complaint (might be a bit pricey compared to other camera batteries).
Service and delivery were excellent.

Was irritated that Panasonic is forcing you to buy their brand battery for the new cameras, but this was a very reasonable price, and the battery is holding it's charge much longer than I expected, based on reviews read.

The DMC-ZS3 requires that one MUST use ONLY a panasonic brand battery.No other brands will work in this camera. How greedy can Panasonic get??!!!At often more than [$]each this is really greedy. Shame on Panasonic.Perhaps shame on me for buying the camera!!!If you download a different firmware version for the camera, other brands of batteries can be used. Why should one have to do this anyway?Total greed plain and simple. Oh yeah, wait til you want to use an AC adapter instead rely on battery power. Surprise!!! NOT !!! You have to use a Panasonic brand set of cables at around[$]+ !!!

I use it as a second battery. Charges very quickly and lasts longer than I expected. Just got it, so will wait to see how long that lasts. Crossing my fingers!

This is from Panasonic. It is the battery you need if you have found yourself with the latest Panasonic firmware on your camera and your camera no longer runs on generic batteries.
ABT said it would take 7-10 days to get. Ten days after placing the order, I checled their website and it still said it would take 7-10 days to get. I called and was told if it says 7-10 days, those days are pretty reliable. It took about 3 weeks. Luckly, it showed up a couple days before I left for my honeymoon in Europe.

Panasonic has problems working with some after market batteries. Since this is original Panasonic it worth it.

I am glad we bought this extra battery for our trip. We were out for the entire day and took tons of pictures. We did need to use this battery towards the end of the day before we were able to recharge the primary battery.

My chief pleasure was being able to locate this battery at all. It's a new product and I couldn't get it from my local dealer where I bought my Lumix ZS3 camera. Panasonic does not even carry the product on their website. Most websites that claim to carry this battery were either out of stock or charging exorbitant prices or both. ABT was the only vendor who is charging the price listed on Panasonic's website.
