I use this dishwasher for everyday dishes, including pots and pans. I've yet to be disappointed with it's cleaning. It's pretty quiet too.

This is my second Whirlpool dishwasher, but only because we moved into a new house. I love the roominess of the racks and I especially like it that the silverware basket does not take up space in the rack. It is quiet and cleans very well. Whirlpool dishwashers are a great product for the money in my opinion.

Service & Delivery comments:

Although my product arrived in excellent condition, I thought that the delivery took a bit longer than it should have. Also, I emailed customer service twice regarding a sales receipt for a rebate that was being offered on this model and I never received a response from them.

Delivers a solid cleaning of the full array of utinsils when you use the normal cycle + high temperature wash and the dishes are nice and dry with the drying option. a bit of a long cycle but it's quiet.
The quick and light feature is useless, used it twice for lightly soiled dishes and I had to redo with the normal cycle. I guess this takes away from energy savings but the normal cycle is still rated energy star.

We have three small children, and use the heck out of this dishwasher. We don't use it for pots and pans or large bowls/serving dishes, but we do have 3 meals a day at home. We can do a full day's worth of dishes in one load. It runs quietly and is very effective at cleaning dishes. We don't use the prerinse feature and the breakfast dishes still come clean when we run it after dinner.

The only con is the silverware basket is small and sometimes the silverware doesn't dry all the way even with the heated dry.

I'm Picky, but It's Working

Racks allow good flexibility. The utensils don't seem to get enough action, perhaps because a bit more space is needed. I'm getting better at figuring out how to load it for effectiveness with our dishes.
