This disposal works just fine. Installation was easy, although getting it to firmly seat in the mounting bracket took some effort. The fact that it has fiberglass body is nice. No more rusting. It's light too. It's a little more noisy than I would have thought, but not a problem.

Replaced a 14 year old smaller model by same manufacturer. Found the new one much easier to install, especially the sink mount. Easily matched up with old plumbing and dishwasher drain. Quiet and powerful. Not a bad job for a 70+ novice repairman.

Good drop in fit as a replacement for a troublesome and overpriced ISE. Much quieter than expected and the higher 2700 rpm makes sense as it doesn't cause as much low frequency vibration as the old ISE did that quite literally shook the plumbing loose. Always liked GE motor tecnology in the past. So far so good.
