I can finally listen to music from my iPhone with my fancy Bose headset.
It's great!

The buttom is hard to press because the size of the controller. Also it is very awkward because you u put the controller near your mouth you'll have a lot of slack from your headphone. If not, others cant hear you through the mic. I like the cloth wrapped wires and control my iphone.

*This allows me to use my Shure in-ear headphones when on the phone. I can hear much better when in the car with in-ear headphones. Fidelity on music is better as well, but I don't use the iPhone for music much (battery issues).
*I like the clip to keep the microphone close.
*Lastly, I like the cable because it doesn't tangle like the headphones that come with the iPhone (takes me forever to untangle the iPhone headset).
*I don't use the buttons to answer, hangup....I use the iPhone for that. So, no comment there.

A great accessory for the iPhone 3G. The microphone is sensitive enough to pick up voice calls without a problem and listeners felt that the quality was on par with most bluetooth headsets. The clicker works as advertised with the iPhone and is a great replacement for the included Apple earbuds. This accessory works best with earphones such as the Shure SE line which has a 3.5mm plug that terminates right at the end of the split so there is no excess cable. The nylon sheath prevents "cable noise" during running or moving. A great value compared to the more expensive mic/cables around.

I have had one of these already and I really liked it beside the fact that it broke after about a month of owning it. I did use it a lot, but there is no reason for the thing to come apart after that period of time. The problem is that with their little clever nylon cover over the wire, the ends where it attaches to the stereo plug is very flimsy, and after bending it back and fourth many times from wear, the wire started to come out of the plug. This caused sound to only come out of one channel of my headphones. Without that ugly rubber attachment from every other stereo plug you see, it's not extremely durable. Other than that I really love the product, I guess you just have to be a little gentle with it.
