I was disappointed by this product and eventually returned it to the store. For some reason, when I plugged the frame to my PC to upload photos to frame's internal memory, the frame locked up all drives (including my external drive which is where I store photos) so I was unable to upload. I had to create a new folder on my C: for upload to frame. Then, I had to reboot PC to "unlock" access to my drives.

Gave this to my wife as a present. She is very happy with it. The frame is not very attractive, but is not ugly. I will probably make my own frame at some time.

Very easy to use. Quality display. Love the 8" 4:3 ratio as it finally gives me a 5x7 equivalent for my desk.

Not quite perfect color representation. Light green background colors in portrait shot of kids comes out more white than green. Kids themselves look great though and doubt any other display does better.

Tested higher res shots with scaling done by the frame versus pre-shrunk 800x600 shots. Frame does a quick job of rendering the higher res shots but looks no different than pre-scaling. Scale yourself and you'll be able to pack in thousands of photos. Even lets you mark favorites so that some photos will get displayed more often than others (useful once you start really loading it up).

Bought this item for my wife for Mother's Day. I gave her a CF card I had laying around to copy her pictures to, inserted it into the frame and Vola! It worked great. I haven't hooked it up to the computer so I don't know about saving pictures to the internal memory, but using an external card works fine.
