This is used in my home theater. Excellent picture and sound.With minor tweaks to color this set looks awesome. There seemed t be a little issue with TV going blank every so often but a software update has since been downloaded and there seems to be no issues.
Delivery was OK. Miscommunication by Delivery company created a little confusion but they quickly worked it out. Once arrived the delivery personnel was very helpful in setting up TV and waiting so that i could check for blemishes and possible faults. None found!!

Our very first 3D TV; after much deliberation it was clear that Plasma wins over LED in 3D and this TV explains just why! The 3D is just unbelievable. I couldn't be happier.

I was nervous about the review talking about the buzzing. I went ahead anyway because I liked the idea of the 63" plasma and the recommendations from videophiles who recommended the plasma over the LED for my needs. I am extremely happy...the picture is like real life. The weight is a littl high, but in my case still not an issue once we got it on the wall. Simply, this is the best picture I have ever seen in a private home to date...it is as good as it is in the store, not one of those best scenario pictures they show you and when you get it home it is as good as it CAN be under the connections abilities. I am very pleased with my decision.

No buzz on my set at all even in 3D mode at full contrast. After reading the reviews and detailed info from owners[...]decided to go with the Samsung 8000 pdp. The 63 inch size and the plasma characteristics are great. The possibility of a buzz on some seems to be the possible downside. I was worried about this but now I'm very pleased with the set and glad I took the chance. The 63" size, 3D, plasma blacks and picture quality, and the value for the size over LED LCD of similar quality w/ 3D was a great value and performance buy. If you want even more value go for the 58" 8000. I can't say enough about how happy I am with this set at about 200 hours of usage time.
Abt local delivery was great and their price was similar with the same promos as anywhere else on the web.

Picture quality is nothing short of spectacular. The TV looks good on and off. You can read about the reviews anywhere on line, it's a great TV except for one glaring issue.... BUZZING.I received this Plasma from ABT 5 days ago, and from day 1 it has been buzzing ridiculously. ABT told me I need to have a Samsung tech come out to look at it to make sure it is 'defective' before I can send it back. So now I'm waiting for the tech to come out, and I'm pretty sure he'll tell me its a "normal plasma buzz" which is untrue, because my neighbors and brothers have plasmas, and they DO NOT buzz like this. [...]If you have sensitive hearing, do not purchase this TV. My parents cannot hear the buzzing (maybe due to age?) but I can. If I sit in front of the TV I hear it. If I move beyond the bezel I do not hear it. Unfortunately, I like to sit in the optimal viewing spot, which is directly in front of the TV, so I'm stuck hearing the awful buzzing, especially during quiet scenes in a movie (I sit 15 feet away).Completely unacceptable to me. I really want to love this TV, and if it didn't buzz, it would be hands down the best TV on the market right now for it's price.
