I gave this 5 starts for the picture and overall quality of the product. Like all things there is always room for improvement.
The bezel should be doubled in thickness at least and the manual rewritten all together.
Only time will tell about the internal quality.
The delivery was excellent.
The box looked like it just left the factory. Not a mark on it.

I purchased the 9000 since the tech was introduced in 2009 and refined in 2010 models. I've been burned by new tech in the first year.
The picture is amazing. The construction and look of the set is excellent. The thin screen does make me nervous.
The User manual is terrible! You just have to work it out on your own. Samsung, have someone with a brain write your manuals.
I've had the set for 2 days. Hope it stands the test of time. I'll add comments if there are issues.
The delivery service was excellent.
Quick delivery with no issues. Box was in perfect condition.

Main television (4 yr old LCD moved to bedroom).
Have had for two weeks and haven't wall mounted yet, but will.
Have not tried 3D (glasses are on back order).
Exactly what you would expect from a top of the line TV ... Excellent picture ... eye catchingly thin ... cool features like DLNA / 3D / apps / widgets / internet streaming / programmable touch remote.
What's wrong with it? Little things:
- Blur / judder software makes things "too clear". At first, it blows you away. After a while, you'll probably prefer when things were less clear. But atleast you have the choice.
- Time consuming to set-up the remote to control all your devices (bluray, cable box, receiver, etc.) and to program macros to make things easier. But that's true of any "universal" remote.
- Can't operate touch remote without looking because buttons are close and sensitive.
- On the stand, leans forward at a noticeable angle because the weight isn't centered ... so you should wall mount it
- Apps / widgets aren't as functional as you would like yet
- DLNA setup could be made easier ... and streaming seems to cut out when your computer / server goes to sleep due to inactivity
All in all, an excellent television. Most of the problems are around the advanced features that are still working through their kinks. I could see people being unhappy if they bought when it first came out, but at this point, the price has come down enough that if you like cool gadgets, you'll probably like this.
ABT customer service has been outstanding. Definitely plan on using them again for key electronics or appliances.

A work of art really--one of the most beautiful consumer products ever mass produced with unbelievable attention to detail. Fine materials used.
Performance borders on perfect as well, matching top plasmas in most respects, surpassing in the ability to display white and pastel colors. Picture limited only by the quality of the signal.
I knew its limitations as an edge lit, non-local dimming display, but the blacks appear VERY inky. LED limited viewing angle is its only major flaw where it is simply typical of the genre in this regard.
Overall, I am thrilled with my purchase. Buy one!!!

I would denitely won't look over for next year's model but this Samsung UN559000. It's absolutely a museum piece from Samsung and it should keep permanent displays of all RETAILERS. It's the best tv in consumer history. I couldn't imagine what Samsung think of next!....but this is it!...
