I spent too many years using cheap, dull knives. A good knife set is mandatory for any one who cooks anything at anytime. The heft and balance of these knives is exquisite. They are very sharp. They look great. This is a super starter set for the money. We plan to add steak knives and more specialty knives when we know what we could really use.
