This product was well worth the good price and gave better directions on many occasions than the portable GPS system that my husband rented from the airport car rental counter. In fact, my Garmin Navi saved us from missing our return flight, as my husband led us in wrong direction twice, adding 20 minutes to our trip. I finally took over and we got there.

I was surprised how easy this was to set up! I originally bought this as a gift for my husband;at the same time he bought the same model, so I kept it for myself! We both love the ease of use and accuracy. Large, easy to read screen is a bonus!

Only suggestion, don't leave it in the car in cold weather. If it gets cold, takes a very long time to warm up and acquire satellites. Otherwise, it's great!

This GPS set up easy and is easy to use. A couple of times it has told me to take routes that I know are not the best way to go, but it always will get you where you want to go in the long run. After lots of searching online this was the best bang for the buck and I saved a bunch of those bucks purchasing it from ABT.

As a first time owner of any vehicle GPS unit, I thought it was incredibly simple to set up and use. Love using the Point of Interest option. Only complaint I have on this product so far is the outdated map. Year old highways/roads in the area are not on the map.

This is a really good unit for first time gps buyers/users, speaks street names instead of just saying "turn right" (I've used the 205W), large clear display, adjustable volume, and lots of features. Very good to have especially in large cities or weekend road trips. [...]

This product is a user friendly device that makes navigation simple and easy.A GPS unit should be first and foremost about navigation, and this unit navigates incredibly well. I am especially impressed by its ability to quickly recalculate your route. You can start using this Garmin right out of the box with little explanation. The touch sensitive screen is excellent. This GPS unit has "intuitive" typing ability so you don't have to type entire locations.

Maybe maps need updating. Traveling on The Avenue of the Saints in Missouri, our little car icon was suddenly in no-man's-land and our "tour guide" was re-calculating and telling us to get back on the highlighted route. In one instance, the shortest route was definitely the least expedient. Exiting an interstate, driving through monitered traffic and back onto the same interstate was confusing and delayed us somewhat. The other thing that I would like to see if it is possible, is to indicate the driving distance to, for example, a restaurant after you exit the route where you are. In one instance, we selected a restaurant from the list given, and after we exited, we discovered the restaurant was 22 miles back. The great thing about the Garmin is the accuracy of distance, time, and the directions given so that you are in the right lane or position to execute the next action to be taken. If you do miss a position, the Garmin will direct you back to where you need to be. The accuracy and quick response time is amazing. We would recommend the Garmin nuvi to everyone.

This is my first GPS and I absolutely love it. I haven't found a negative thing about it. I've read comments that the voice was difficult to understand but I have not experienced that at all.
Customer service and delivery were great. I'd definitely do business with this company again.

Definitely inferior compared to my old Garmin c330 Street Pilot. Terribly bad text-to-voice speech that is hardly understood, tells you to follw the magenta like, and then misses direction warnings on upcoming terns, and its 2009 maps seem to be similar to my 2005 Street Pilot whose voive and direction were very good. I returned it to ABT after two days, and paid the 10% restocking fee. Check return policy before you buya a GPS in any store.

I am a technophobe. My wife has a built-in GPS in her new Accura RL. I had to buy this for my own car to stay on course! After spending lot of time and search on internet, I recently bought this item. It is simple to set-up and has really good graphics and voice command. The size of screen is extremely good for the price.

I was able to mount the device in a good location.
It fits well into the console of my car which contains the power outlet.
The disc for suctioning is located out of sight so I can store it without fear.

We have used it substantially since we got it and it works great. Satellite acqusition is very fast (that was something that bugged me on other units I have used in the past). The speed limit sign is very helpful...most of the time it hit the speed limit changes within a few feet of the sign. It is also very quick on route calculations. I had read reviews where people did not like the voice very well but that is not a big deal to me. Most of the time I do not listen to the voice anyway unless I am in an unfamiliar location and need to use the voice. The voice is fine to me. It would not win a grammy but what do you expect? It is fairly good on points of interest. You are always going to have some lag on new restaurants and attractions and those that have closed that will be behind until the next upgrade. It does not have BlueTooth or some of the other fancy bells and whistles but it does very well at what I want it to do...navigation. I highly recommend it.

I liked it because its easy to plan a trip and easy to follow. The widescreen and the spoken directions including street name are great but I have a few complaints. The speaking voice that gives directions is too compressed and can be hard to hear, the map display should include compass direction and current time, you have to drill down to a second screen to find those, and lastly it seemed to avoid highways more than I liked.
