Used GPS for recent trip. Did well. Went on new interstate (6 Months old) which it did not have in data base. Figured it out when I got to the older section.

I am pleased with the product in that it takes me to addresses that I otherwise would have to refer to a map. I have yet to spend a lot of time with all the functions but as I learn it becomes more amazing. I like the voice directions and the street names.

As an Emergency Services provider we bought this to aid our crews in finding addresses in rural areas just a little easier. It is easy to use and an address can be programmed in less than 1-2 minutes. Some of the newest roads are not in it and the specific address may not show correctly but for navigation it will definately get you in close. Easy to update as well.

4 star because nothing is perfect.
Screen is very bright, at night I have it set at 0% and still good enough, in the day I have it set at 40% and this in a convertible.

4GB of internal storage is great and I use it as a mp3 player, it takes sdhc cards as well.

similar interface to other garmin, can be improved.

Overall very please with it.

ABT always has the best deals

Many other reviews on this model complained about the pop-up ads that cover the cost of the free traffic info. They are extremely small, they don't pop up when you're moving, and they're barely noticeable. Personally, I think the companies that buy the pop-up ads are wasting their money, I never see them!

I have used the GPS system offered as an option on Hertz rental cars (Never Lost) and have used Tom Tom. The Hertz system does not compare with the system utilized by the Nuvi 755T. The Tom Tom is better than Hertz but no where near Garmin. You don't even need an instruction manual - it's very simple to get up and running right out of the box. I highly recommend it.

We just upgraded from an Older Garmin model and were amazed with how much smaller this is than our old Garmin. It does not require being plugged in at all times and has an internal battery that charges.

The tracking is also much quicker and more accurate PLUS you have traffic reports which the unit automatically uses to route you in the quickest manner.
The user interface is also very straight forward
Very impressed overall - did not notice any "cons" besides the volume from speaker being too low but this you can fix using it's built in FM broadcaster- Highly Recommend A++

We are often on the road with our kids' sports activities and find ourselves in unfamiliar cities and towns. We bought the Garvin Nuvi 755t because sometimes reading a map is difficult in the dark or in a crisis situation or there is only one parent in the vehicle with several children who cannot read maps. We considered this a safety issue as much as a convenience issue. We have only had it for three weeks but we love it.
