[...]Garmin support is available and good. The HD Bluetooth is a little "touchy" learn how to reset.

Comments about Garmin Garmin Nuvi 3790LMT Car Navigation System:
Some people complained that it does not acquire satellites fast but this is not true at all. If the unit is on standby, it takes about 20 seconds to have the satellites lock. If it was completely off, then it takes about 2 minutes, which is about normal for any GPS.The route choices are very good compared to my previous Navigon GPS and very similar or identical to routes I would take myself just using a map.The voice command is by far the best feature, it works very well. The only cons is that you cannot chose the type of itinerary using the voice command, by default it takes the fastest route, while if you use the on-screen menu, you can chose between fastest, shorted and most fuel efficient routes. The traffic info is surprisingly detailed but slow to acquire. If the unit was completely off or detached from the cradle, it takes about 25 minutes to get traffic. If the unit was on standby and on the cradle, it just takes a couple minutes or less. One feature I do miss compared to the Navigon is the over the speed limit warnings. The Navigon would beep over preset speeds (i.e 15 mph over on highway, 5 mph over in city), while the Nuvi just shows your current speed in red.I also downloaded the cyclops red-light cams map from garmin's website, this works so-so. I mean, it works when the camera location is correctly setup but in many cases the database is not accurate and it won't warn you although the camera has been in place for a long time. There are other databases than can be downloaded for this purpose but have not yet tried them out, most are not free. Now that I've been using the GPS for a few weeks it starts to show the myTrend routes. When I leave home in the am it tells me the expected driving time to work without me having to do anything.I also like the on-screen information, particularly the top shows the street name you're currently driving on and the next street name ahead.I'm considering adding the Ecoroute HD device but at [$] currently, even tough it's down from $150, it's still twice as much as I would be willing to pay for the gadget. Finally, the screen is very very crisp and accurate to touch and the unit very good looking about twice thinner than an iPhone.
