Comments about Sony Sony Marine CD Receiver:

I haven't played enough with this unit to get a really good feel for it but what I have seen in a weekend of use I really like. The tuner picks up a lot more stations than my old JVC, it sounds great and is easy-to-use.

Comments about Sony Sony Marine CD Receiver:

This is a marine head unit, but I have installed it outside on my deck using a waterproof housing and a DC converter. It works great, sounds great, and is easy to use. The wireless remote control is also a very nice feature. There are many different ways to alter the sound using preset or custom equalizer settings. I've tried a lot of different setups on my deck, and this one is the best sounding by far.

My only complaint is that the direct iPod connection (via a 9 foot cable) disables all functions on the iPod itself. The only way to change artists or albums is by moving through slow alphabetical menus that display on the Sony. I tend to just run the iPod through the Aux input jack on the front, which allows me to have more direct control.
