I bought this for my Alpine headunit and the setup was easy. Just take the radio out and plug in the connection cable to the back of it. Then, run the cable to wherever you want. The cord is plenty long enough to go just about anywhere in the front of your car.

Used this cable to connect my ipod to my head unit. I've had no issues with it at all, it stays connected and charged. The cable itself is long enough to put almost anywhere in your car and still be connected to the radio!

This is a very good product. It allows your to control the ipod directly on the Alpine head unit and it also chages the ipod. The cable is high quality and has a good connection.

Cable is extremely long. It's good, thick quality.
ABT has the best price--but overall it's a spendy adaptor required to use iPod with Alpine.

Direct Connect is the best out there, Alpine cable is pretty durable & has a thicker wiring than regular ipod cable as well as a more durable type of connection. No lag at all between songs.
