Like the heading says- For [$]...how can u go wrong?This little guy produces lots of high's & a bit of low-end. I have a bazooka tube linked to this system which helps w/ the fill-in. In my opinion, I would totally recommend this product to anyone (considered cost vrs. reward).Cheers!

Alpine did a great job with this unit and ABT is the right place to buy. Target application was a motorcycle for pairing with an Alpine CDA-9884 head unit. The KTP-445 was a good option given its size, plug and play with the Alpine harness, and low heat. Time of install and effort required makes this a great option for those looking for simplicity and an immediate output boost. For installation in a fairing the KTP is also low weight. The only two drawbacks noticed were at the top end of performance, critical for high volume needs on a loud motorcycle, and an inability to expand its use beyond 4 speakers without cutting the harness. Adding RCA's with the ability to run at 2 or 4 ohms would be a good feature for future versions.

Very easy to install, plug in and your done! The longest part of the project was finding a suitable spot behind the dash to mount it. It also has a high/low gain switch on the unit but no direction on what it should be set on. The only reference it gives is: depending if you're using a sub or not determines on how it should be set, but it doesn't tell you how to set it for the application you're using! Afer a call to Alpine, I found out without a sub, it's set to high, with a sub, it set to low. Other that that little set-up snag, I love the product!

I bought this so I wouldn't have to install another amp to run my component speakers on. Sound went immediately from weak to vibrant, clean, and full. I waited about three months for them to get this in stock and it was well worth the wait!!! Don't spend your time and money with amps and wiring kits when you can plug and play in minutes.

First off thank you ABT. Cant find this mini amp anywhere for [$]. the alpine ktp 455 is awesome. for [$] and very easy to install yourself you cant beat. Instead of spending $100+ for just an amp, you have to buy amp kit wires and pay for install if you cant yourself which most people dont do it themselves. This mini amp makes the speakers really work and sound good. The built in amp 18W doesnt really do much for aftermarket speakers. My HU would constantly restart itself if i play my music too loud but once i installed the ktp 445 i cold play it as loud as i want (till i blow the speakers) lol without the HU restarting itself. I DEFINATELY recommend this product.
