My 25 year old Panasonic iron finally died a month or so ago. Looked at other brands, but in the end decided to buy another Panasonic. I really like the auto wind up cord and most don't offer that feature. The iron isn't heavy (unlike other brands), easy to fill and has steam and spray features - really didn't need much else. It heats up quickly and cools down just as fast. it's very stable when sitting upright on the ironing board. I don't like green, so for me that was the only downside to it, but bought it anyway due to the great service of my past iron and other reviews I had read. Not really necessary to spend $$$ on an iron - this one was a great deal.
