I replaced a Fellows PS 55CC that broke after many years of use. I bought another Fellows because I was totally happy with it, but I am not as happy with this one as u can tell by my comments above. I am sorry now that I purchased this one.

As a daily user of route trash mail and the occasional purging of home files, this is one of the best machines I have owned. I read a few reviews saying tends to overheat. Unless you are shredding a library I did not find this to be true. I had two piles of paper after my file purge about 7" high each. One pile each day and small break in between and the machine worked great. Buy the oil to keep it running great and reduce paper dust.

The only beef I had was that I didn't know you needed to get lubricant for the shredder. It should have been in the product description and/or cross sold when buying the shredder.

I find the built in safety features beneficial:
- auto shutdown to avoid overheating
- shredder won't run if it's not in the collection basket
