I bought this boombox as a gift for my husband who's other boombox--speaker had gone out. He likes the sound quality and similar features of his other boombox. We both wish it was a little less bulky in size, but otherwise, have no complaints.

I use this unit mostly in the kitchen while making meals, eating, and cleaning up. I like the remote which I can operate from the counter. For background music, I can use the remote from the dining room with the unit in the kitchen. It is great outdoors, very powerful and doesn't distort the music at high volumes while I work in the garden or rake leaves. The only small problem is that the line cord has come loose from the back of the unit a couple times.

I've only had this boombox for 2 weeks now, but I'm quite satisfied with it so far. I haven't used the cassette or MP3 playback yet, so can't comment on that. My primary use so far has been for listening to CD's. The most important factor in my purchase was the sound quality, which others had reported positively on. I find that the sound is quite good for this price level. Having four equalizer presets is somewhat limiting, but you can usually find a satisfactory setting. I haven't used the remote, so can't comment on it. Also, we've only used this indoors so far, plugged into an AC outlet, so I can't comment on battery life either. Sorry for the rather limited "review", but for my purposes, this has been a good purchase.

it is uncommon to find a unit that plays all these different formats, to have good sound as well is a plus. Battery life varies depending on the format played

Great Sound. I bought it for my kitchen. I thought to choose the one from Sonny first for less price, but I changed my mind becouse I found other people recomemded this one better. I am so glad I did because the boombox sound like this good is worth for the money.

Great sound and good value.
Remote works, however should be redesign for longer ranges and angle distances. Maybe 12 feet away directly aiming at unit is the limit the remote will work.

Not much to say here other than its pretty good. No real downside. Good functional remote. Does the job when my wife wants to listen to her shows on NPR Sunday mornings while she runs around the kitchen.
