This radio is small but mighty. It takes up little space on a nightstand, but the sound is unbelievable!!! Set-up is SO easy (a welcome change from some of the other major brands). We are extremely happy that we chose this model.

This radio might not win any design awards but the sound quality and reception are fantastic. I, like some of the other reviewer comments, have a terrible reception problem in my area. This radio brings in the stations with no problems and no need to hook up to an outside antenna. Great little product! Expensive for a clock radio - somewhat, but well worth it.

I finally broke down and bought this model after years of $10 alarm clocks with tinny sound, poor tuning dials, no presets and drifting reception. The FM station I normally listen to has only so-so signal in our area, and depending on the weather, the old clocks would occasionally wake me up with horrible between-station static. Not this one! The reception is phenomenal, set-up is very easy, and the sound quality is top notch. It is truly a joy to wake to. OK, it's kind of expensive, but if you break down the price over the years of service a clock radio provides, it starts looking a lot more reasonable. I wish I had found this sooner.

I like this radio. Good, but not audiophile level sound. Space saver and the dark grey color make it very attractive in any room.

I just redecorated my bedroom and wanted a good clock radio. After decades of a serviceable and perfectly fine $9.99 model from[...], I splurged (because I also wanted a way to hook up to a cd player) on this model, especially after reading reviews about the sound. I love this model, the tones are rich and deep, and are a pleasure to wake up to. I absolutely love the tuning knobs, as opposed to the "wheels" on most clocks radios, and I love the push-button off and on. Much more expensive than I anticipated spending, but worth it.

Best reception ever in a radio. I live in a reception poor area (at least as judged by my 2 Bose Waves and an old Proton) but this gets every station clearly, more stations than I ever expected could be received. It has great sound. Very simple controls which do everything but scan, but scan isn't really needed with 20 presets. Small footprint is a plus. Only con is display is hard to read in bright sunlight (it's a few feet in front of a window), but is easy to read otherwise.

At first I was thinking that it was going to be just a good radio. Then I heard the richness of tone, and it did not have to be turned up loud to hear the different programs I like. The only thing I would add is a romote.

This is a good looking, good sounding, easy to use radio. It has the best reception of any radio in our home. We use it as a bedside radio, but bring it into the kitchen to listen to the Univ. of Maine hockey games on AM. Very full sound, somewhat biased toward bass, clean and crisp with voice and music.
