After reading reviews I settled on this under the counter cd player radio. I was looking for a model that would play mp3 cd's and this unit plays cd's with files burnt both from Itunes as well as my ripped files on my PC. The radio is okay, although reception in my house is not great anyway. It is not better or worse than our surround sound system.

I like the features and design, but it needs an external antenna to receive reception in some areas. I bought this for use in my office and most of the tv and weather stations are very difficult to receive. Pulling the power cord taught as suggested does little to improve reception.

Volume is great, and it keeps the last volume setting. Weather band does noting but static, a walkie picks it up fine in the same location. TV band is not great, but it is going away soon anyway. FM could be a little clearer as I have heard on others, but it has great AM reception.

We use this under cabinet clock/radio/CD player/timer in the kitchen in the morning while getting ready for work and in the evening when cooking supper. Don't have to go into the family room to fiddle with the home stereo system. Kitchen timer feature works great and is loud enough to hear upstairs.

Picks up National Weather Service channel as well as local TV stations, AM and FM. Decent sound quality. Easy to install under upper cabinet with small electric drill and included hardware.

I really love this radio, however I wish it had one button scanning, making it easier to find stations. It has a digital tune option, but you have to know what station you are looking for, or listen for the static to clear when you get close, that kind of sucks!

The item was a gift for my wife to use in the kitchen mounted under the cabinet. It needs an fm antenna which it does not have. Poor reception on the radio makes it difficult to use.

This undercounter radio took the place of a 25 year old radio.

The only bad feature I found is that the led for the clock is so dim it is hard to read.

Good quality product from Sony. Would look great in any application.

I bought this product for my wife and children to use in the kitchen/breakfast nook where they listen to music every morning. It replaced a CD "boombox" that sat on the kitchen counter. Easy to install under the cabinet and it fits in perfectly and takes up no counter space. Very neat. Works perfectly so far (about 3 weeks of use). Great sound with all types of music. Radio works great too. Higly recommended.

This under counter spacesaver CD/radio/weather system is great. Very easy to install, sounds great, takes up very little room, looks sleek. I have bought 2 more for Christmas gifts. This was exactly what we were looking for to put in our kitchen. We especially like the small remote that has a magnet to go on the refrigerator. It was very easy to install and looks sharp. The radio reception is good and the weather stations are a nice bonus. Another nice feature is that the clock illuminates at night. All in all, a wonderful cd/radio player for under your cabinet!

Good sound & reception. Suggest flush mounting screws to avoid dish damage (use flat-head screws & a counter-sink drill bit - it was easy).

Easy installation using included mounting template, although some may need a thin strip of molding along the bottom edge of the cabinet to hide the plastic spacers. Regardless, you'll find the unit a very efficient utilization of an undercabinet area.
Setting multi-band presets is intuitive and fast; Boston FM and local TV reception is strong and static-free (but was unable to tune in NOAA weather); spoken word is clear; over the air and cd music is acceptable; and the small remote is very handy.
If you're looking for an unobtrusive kitchen radio to keep you company in the kitchen, this unit pretty well fits the bill.

We bought this unit as a gift for my Mother-in-law. She seems to really like it. Though she did mention that the stations aren't always clear. It's kind of hit or miss depending on where you are standing in the kitchen. The installation was very easy, and I thought the sound was great. Love the remote, very convienent. The only thing that it's missing is a light.
