I purchased this audiovox dvd player as a package with many accessories. The pictures isnt hdtv or plasma quality, but rivals my home television. The sound isnt great, but I didnt expect it to have surround sound either--the volume does go up to a "semi-loud" level. The headphones improve the sound. The controls are easy to navigate and the user manual is simple. I jostled the player around with a dvd in it and the movie never skipped. Unit does get a little warm but not hot. The bag is ok. The game system that came with mine is of the atari quality and wont be used in my case. For the price, and an 8" screen its good! I read reviews on MANY players before deciding on this one--- dont be worried about reviews about this one "not working or screen freezing" all the models have SOMEONE who says this (and it makes me wonder if it is a defect in all or if these particular people beat the machine up). The remote while thin is kinda busy.
