Comments about Polaroid Polaroid 10" Silver Swivel Portable DVD Player:
Screen size and picture are great. Controls are very easy to use. Also, like that headphone jacks are split (one on left side and one on right side of the unit).
Only con to the unit is the battery. Battery life is not as long as some DVDs - we have been getting at least 3 hours - able to watch 2 movies on recent flight. Also, the battery is a little bulky and attaches rather loosely to the bottom of the DVD player. Finally, there's a note in the package that says not to overcharge the battery - a little worrisome, but hasn't been a problem for us. (I did some research on the Internet and found that this can be a problem if you leave the unit charging overnight - it will overheat)
Without the battery, such as watching in car with included plug-in, works great.
All in all, not a perfect unit, but very reasonable price for a largescreen, portable DVD.

Care is needed when putting it into the car bag or the power switch will turn off--after getting the movie all set up. Keep remote handy when it is in the bag. Picture is good. Most important--the kids were occupied on the latest trip.
