I use it at work on an JBL Speaker base. I also use it in my car which has an Ipod connection. I use it on the train with the standard Apple earbuds. I love this unit because I can listen to music and play a game on it. The screen is big enought that I could watch a movie if I'd like. It handles great. I bought a skin with a lanyard so it carries like a shuffle. I really loved my old Nano before I crushed it in the car door. I received a Zune for free and was very unhappy with it. The Apple is just a better and more reliable product. This unit is great!

This is the first Apple anything I've owned and am generally pleased with the Nano. My only issues are the ill-fitting earphones and the over-sensitivity of the control wheel. I'm still experimenting with placement of the earphones which either fall out or need constant adjustment to get the otherwise fine sound. The conrols seem to be a little too sensitive, but I'm getting better at selecting the album or song I want on the first try. Overall a good buy.

I use this product while working in the office. If you are a real music lover and also have some extra money to shell out, then I would recommend you to use Bose In-ear Earphones.

Ipod Nano 3rd generation is really really sleek, you can sneak it in the wallet also. Black color looks classy.

For the last 3 years I refused to fall into the ipod trend...Ive always been against mac's especially owning a mac product, after many mp3 players under my belt proving to me their performance (or shall I say lack there of) I finally took the plunge and decided to get an ipod. For anyone that is in the same boat I was or see yourself possibly heading there...dont waist for time with inferior products that dont have the "ipod" logo on them. This is a solid product, very easy to use, navigate, and set up. One of the main reasons I decided to buy this is because the aftermarket stereo I have in my truck accepts an ipod interface with full control. Awesome!!! Believe me, I tried to find something wrong with the product...but the only thing I could pull out of my (you know) is it does smudge and scratch easily, who cares? It all depends on how you treat it. But the best part about owning an ipod is you can go anywhere and find an accessory for it. Bottom line: Buy one if you have a need for listening to music on a daily, weekly, or even monthly basis. I listen to mine all day, every day with absolutely no hick ups or freezing....Flawless!!!

Should be able to replace the batteries yourself not only Apple. Had to pay to upgrade to Mac Tiger Operating software.

I bought this as a gift for my husband for Christmas, so all I know about it so far is from playing with it prior to giving it to him. I thought it would be nice to load the songs for him, so I did, and I am especially pleased at how easy this was. It's so tiny and cute, too! I might just be purchasing another one in the near future... The only real tricky thing I've encountered so far (and remember, I'm playing with someone else's toy, so I haven't spent a lot of time on it) is that the buttons aren't just buttons but also seem to scroll automatically like the mouse pad of a laptop. I'm sure with a little practice this will be a cinch to master, though, and I'll (okay, he) will probably really appreciate this feature.

This little trinket usually comes in handy on those bored and interminable commutes from school and back , it's an easy way to block out everything and let you focus on something you can enjoy. The only disappointments I've encountered is the chrome backing which I don't find very appealing and how easily it becomes scratched just from the lint in my pocket. When adding videos I've also noticed a time delay between picture and sound which becomes pretty annoying when you hear something before the mouths saying it haven't even begun to form the words. Other than that, it's a nifty little thing, especially with the new cover flow feature that usually draws attention and admiration for such a neat little device.
