Great for a 1st timer....
The external speaker is cool, the volume buttons are nice, extra storage great. Downside is that I have 3rd party addons, they work with the 1 gen, but not this one. So be carful. I am returning this one and will stick with the 1 gen. Maybe some day when I want to replace all my other stuff I will upgrade. Example: get a message that pops up and says, chagre device not supported

My last ipod was a pre-video ipod, because I was waiting for something unique. I did not want to buy the iphone. The ipod Touch now with the OS 2.0 iphone/itouch upgrade, has provided me with all of the astonishing and wonderful media interfaces and apps of the iphone as long as I am within Wi-Fi range! And it has 32Gig storage!

I've been very satisfied with its performance in a number of areas, and when I am not in WiFi range, the additional apps I can use include e-book reading and music/video.

I like to listen to Audiobooks. I drive many miles and a good book makes the time pass quickly. I would not have time to read as many books as I have been able to listen to while in the car. Music sounds really good too.

Nice product and easy to set up. Have not downloaded music yet, but everything elso I have done is easy. Screen is too small for easy surfing, but I guess that is to be expected.

I really like this new ipod. No problems whatsoever with it so far. The touch screen is great, but it is easy to touch it by accident. Sometimes when you touch it, it doesn't seem to register. Otherwise it has been a great iPod.
