The system does natively read PDF and Office files but even apps are a little sparse on creating. and there is no good way to copy and paste.

It is great for entertainment, but lacking for productivity

The external speaker isnt the best in the world, but you can hear sound. It is very sleek and slim which feals to almost slip out of my hand at times. I recomend to buy a cover or sleeve to help this. Pictures on the display are very sharp and clear. One of the best things I like to do is check e-mail and clear out the junk e's.

This toy is less music player and more all around wi-fi enabled toy. The music/video capabilities are fine, no better or worse than a standard iPod, but I truly enjoy downloading songs directly to the iPod instead of having to download to a computer and sync them over. What I've really enjoyed is the wifi capabilities, including the fully functioning safari browser, the mail (with fantastic Gmail interface) application and some well designed applications for LinkedIn, [...] and YouTube.

I think it's the best ipod. For my surprising it's like they said: the battery lasts up to 23 hours...I tested it my self on the road with the airplane and it resisted 22 hours. I like very much the display, and the thing that you can watch movies on it.
The two things I don't like is that you can put music, videos and photos on it only with Itunes. Another annoying thing would be the apps -> if you want to put another apps but the ones from apple you have to jailbreak it and lose the warranty.
Overall it's a very good product and it look good too; it's like a little jewelry.
