for me is great at the gym when I workout or run.It is small, light and the controls are easy. you don't have to unclip and try to find the playlist that you want. i allready have it all set up from home. Just turn on and... run!!

Headphone controls make this unusable...

The controls are on the headphone wire, forbidding you to use your own headphones. I like the headphones where they wrap around the top of your ear whenever I work out. I now cannot use that, and am forced to use Apples headphones. Also, being a tall guy, the cord is about six inches too short to clip on my waist.

I use this unit while on the treadmill or eliptical machine at the gym. It's ultra small, but easy to use and has good sound.
