I typically use my iPod when I'm working out at the gym or when travelling. With this new one, I wear it around the house when I'm doing chores as well -- I just love it!

Getting the new 5th Gen Ipod Nano was fantastic as I was planning a week long ski trip to New England (VT & NH). I always skied with music (old walkman, etc.) and found it made my skiing more enjoyable. Now with the new Ipod, it brought back great memories and allowed me to ski longer, as i felt great with awesome music to keep pushing me on to ski "just another run".

About the only thing to improve this product would be the optional head phones with the control on the cord, as having to pull the nano out to adjust volume, change songs, etc., is just to much of a hassle when skiing and it's cold! But with the random shuffle mode, I didn't need to do that very often.

This was supposed to be a gift for my wife for her gym use, but I "borrowed" it and got her another one! Great product for active lifestyles and music fans.

The plugs make my ears sore, but be very careful what sound system to which you hook it up.
