The mp3 player is fine, maybe hard to read the display with sunlight around.
But the software SonicStage is just terrible.
It might take 2 hours to be able to re-edit a play list. Drag and drop? Why some people always wants to make things harder?

I am pretty much a technology-challenged person. I don't have a huge use for all of the gadgets out there that my 7th & 8th grade students use. However, I wanted a way to listen to some of my favorite CDs while on a beach over spring break. I decided to give this a try. EASY EASY EASY! It plugs right in to your computer! Downloading and charging the battery happen at the same time. I don't have a million songs that I want, so the 1GB memory is ample for me. I also like that I can listen to FM radio and the signals come in very clear -- better than on our home system!

Have owned the player for 1 month. Only drawback is using Sony's proprietary software to load device. This adds a step without any benefit. Otherwise, I'm very pleased with the small size (Bic lighter), long battery life, and capacity. Appears and feels sturdier than 2 other mp3 players I've had.
