I bought this MP3 player primarily because of two features. The active noise canceling system and the graphic equalizer. The noise canceling system works great while traveling or in any situation with steady background noise. The graphic equalizer is useful in getting a mix that you like;could use a bit more range though. A negative is that the equalizer doesn't work on the FM radio, only on the MP3 player. A second negative is the FM reception dosen't doesn't seem as strong as some MP3 Players.
